About Me
Zara Samia is a Legal Assistant at London Law Solicitors and an LLB Law undergraduate at the University of Westminster. She is currently gaining valuable practical experience while completing her studies and intends to sit the Solicitors Qualifying Examination (SQE) to qualify as a solicitor.
Experience
Zara has experience assisting across multiple areas of law, including family law, housing, dispute resolution, litigation, conveyancing and commercial leases. She supports solicitors with legal research, case preparation, document drafting, and client communication.
She also frequently assists barristers at various stages of proceedings and occasionally attends court on behalf of the firm to support clients and gain further experience. Her work spans both litigation and alternative dispute resolution (ADR), such as mediation and arbitration.
Zara also provides additional support to the Immigration Department when required.
Focus
Zara is committed to delivering high-quality legal assistance and maintaining a client-focused approach. She places strong emphasis on attention to detail, effective communication, and supporting both clients and colleagues throughout legal proceedings. Zara is known for her ability to learn quickly and adapt in fast-paced legal environments.
Languages
Zara is fluent in English, Dari, Farsi, and German. She is currently learning Pashto.
Outside of Work
Zara currently serves as Director of Internal Affairs at AfSU, a national charity supporting community-led initiatives. In her free time, she enjoys staying updated on current affairs and keeping active through karate, swimming, and gym training.
